The location of this place was absolutely incredible, with jaw-dropping views of the canal. The air conditioning saved us from the scorching heat on the top floor. The host's communication was super helpful, allowing us to check in early and leave our bags after check out. Haarlem is a hidden gem, more beautiful and peaceful than the bustling city nearby. Just a short walk to the main part of town, the clean and tidy apartment had comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The view from the second floor window was breathtaking. It's the perfect little place to stay if you're planning on exploring and the nearby barbecue chicken restaurant was a mind-blowing bonus. We were impressed by the character of the old building and the great facilities provided, including a dryer, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch, and the fact that they had free Wi-Fi and no pets or smoking on site made for a hassle-free stay. I highly recommend this place, it exceeded all our expectations!

During my transit in Haarlem, I stayed at Turfhuys Aan Het Spaarne and found it conveniently located near the airport, just 11 km away. This made it extremely easy and quick for me to catch my flight without any hassle. the hotel provided a kitchenette with basic facilities, which was adequate for my short stay. It allowed me to prepare simple meals and save some money on dining out.
The mixture of crockery and cutlery was somewhat eclectic, and I felt a toaster would have been a useful addition.

During my recent stay at Turfhuys Aan Het Spaarne in Haarlem, I was pleased with two main features of the hotel. the convenient location of the hotel was a huge plus for me. Being a transit traveler, it was important for me to find a hotel that was close to the nearest airport. I was delighted to discover that the hotel was only 11 km away from the airport, making my journey much more convenient and hassle-free. the fact that the hotel had its own database was extremely helpful in ensuring that I had a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Occasionally, the café next door made early morning deliveries, and the noise could be slightly disruptive.
